Ingredients-
- 1 lb medium raw Shrimp
- 6 slices Wright Applewood Smoked Bacon, broiled and cut into small pieces
- 1 1/2 lb fresh Green Beans, hard ends cut off
- Oevoo (Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
- 1/3 c Tap Water
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- 1 large Garlic Clove, minced
- Ground Paprika
- Dried Basil
- Onion Powder
- Red Pepper Flakes
- White Sesame Seeds
- Few Green Onion stalks, chopped
- 1 1/2 c uncooked Long Grain Brown Rice
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
Directions-
- Boil the rice for 30 minutes. Rinse, drain and mix with 1 tbsp melted butter.
- Thoroughly rinse the green beans. In a large saucepan over medium heat, add a dash of olive oil and water (about 1/3 c of water). Once the oil and water gets hot, add the green beans, a dash of salt, pepper and half of the minced garlic. Sauté for 12 minutes. Transfer the green beans to a plate.
- Peel and devein the shrimp. Add the shrimp to the same pan and season with a dash of salt, pepper, ground paprika, onion powder, dried basil, red pepper flakes and the rest of the minced garlic. Sauté for 7 minutes over medium heat.
- Stir the green beans into the pan with the shrimp and then remove from heat. Stir in the bacon pieces.
