Roasted Pork Chops, Pearl Onions & Mushrooms in Brown Gravy with Green Beans & Brown Rice

Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in Pork Chops
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 3 or 4 tbsp Flour
  • 3 10.5 oz cans Condensed Beef Broth
  • 1 large Garlic Clove, minced
  • Dash of Onion Powder
  • Black Pepper
  • 20 Pearl Onions
  • 1 1/2 c Baby Bella Mushrooms
  • 1 lb Fresh Green Beans
  • 1 1/2 c dry Brown Rice

Directions-

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Lay them in a large baking dish.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the flour, beef broth, minced garlic, a dash of onion powder and black pepper. Stir until thickened.
  3. Pour gravy over chops, cover and bake for 2 hours at 375 degrees.
  4. Add the pearl onions and mushrooms to the dish, cover and bake for another hour. Serve with rice and green beans.

Brown Rice

Directions-

Boil the rice for 30 minutes. Rinse and mix in 1 tbsp butter.

Green Beans

Directions-

  1. Thoroughly rinse the green beans and cut off the hard ends.
  2. Cover with water in large saucepan and bring to medium heat. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain water and season with salt, pepper and garlic.
